Timothy Stanton from the USA won our third IPY data sharing award!
His data set, the “Time-series data from the Naval Postgraduate School Autonomous Ocean Flux Buoy (AOFB) #11” was selected as the October monthly winner in our IPY data sharing contest!
By submitting his data, he won an “Oslo Stipend” for the IPY Open Science Conference in June in Oslo. This includes a housing allowance and a 50% off the registration, which includes free city transportation and free lunches, as well as admittance to the festival and conference picnic.
Timothy was supported by the fine folks at the Cooperative Arctic Data and Information Service
