A one day conference on ;The Polar Environment- Past, Present and Future  

Outline
A one day conference to get together experts in all aspects of The Polar regions to an invited audience of University students, sixth form students and the general public. Conference to be hosted by University of Brighton School of The Environment.

Yes

Faculty and school based with a steering committee

What are the initial plans of the project for addressing the education, outreach and communication issues outlined in the Framework document?
No research data envisaged, however conference places will be made available to students by promotion via Setpoint Sussex.

What are the initial plans of the project to address data management issues (as outlined in the Framework document?
Data management will be executed within the UoB policy for data protection

How is it proposed to fund the project?
Limited funding from the UoB and Sussex Stpoint + sponsorship to be confirmed for conference bags
